The boys of one direction all have their own individual styles > from the colors, outfits, shoes, and hair. We all can probably recite these details faster than our first and last name, and to me that shows talent.
Lou rocks his stripes every chance he gets. I felt it was about time to bring this element into a craft (:
I have had this plain old battery operated candle for a while now and it was screaming to me to do something with it! You could probably find one at most stores, you'd just need to look around. If you have trouble finding the battery one, a normal candle would work just the same. I just would not recommend lighting it, keep it for decoration purpose only.
collect ...
a battery operated candle
double sided tape
glitter
scissors
a spray on sealer
a small paintbrush
a paper plate
1. Cut strips of the double sided tape just long enough to fit around you candle.
2. Stick them onto the candle, forming stripes. Make sure all of your seams lined up in the back, so you do not see them.
3. When your happy with your stripes, peel off the paper on the tape ( if yours has paper ) and carefully sprinkle on your glitter. Do this over a paper plate, to keep away the mess and save the excess glitter.
4. There might be some extra glitter floating around in between the stripes. If so, easily brush it off with the small paint brush.
5. Next take your candle out side and give it a good spray on all sides. Leave it on the paper plate, and let it dry over night.
AND THATS IT! easy huh?
